X JAPANさんの「ENDLESS RAIN」と向き合い、曲に入り込んでいくと、まず始めはとてつもない悲しい気持ちになり涙が止まりませんでした。
YOSHIKIさんはこの曲を生み出された時、一体どんな悲しみに打ちひしがれていたのだろう、と。
ですが、何度も弾き込んでいるうちに、不思議と、まるで讃美歌のようなエネルギーも感じずにはいられませんでした。
次第にゆっくり、ゆっくり、癒されていくような感覚でした。
間奏の部分では、どうしてもカノンのメロディーが流れてきて、勝手に指が動いていました。
世界中にファンがいらっしゃる中、原曲とは違ったアレンジで弾くことに少し戸惑いながらも、私なりの解釈と編曲をお楽しみ頂けることを願って、あえて指が動くままお届けしようと思います。
霧のような慈悲の雨がとても優しく降ってくれているような、そんな癒しと浄化の音は、私のピアノ人生でも大きなテーマとしていることです。

When I faced X JAPAN's "ENDLESS RAIN" and got into the song, at first I felt incredibly sad and could not stop crying.
Then I wondered what kind of sadness Mr. YOSHIKI had been feeling when he created this song.
But as I played the song over and over again, I couldn't help but feel the energy of the song, as if it were a hymn.
Slowly, slowly, I felt as if I was being healed by playing the song.
During the interlude, the melody of Canon kept playing in my head so my fingers were moving on their own to play it.
I was a little perplexed to play a different arrangement from the original, but I hope you will enjoy my interpretation and arrangement, and I dare to share it with you that I let my fingers move as they wanted.
The sound of healing and purification, as if a misty rain of mercy is falling very gently, is a major theme in my piano life.
