Basically season 2/ part 2 of the promised neverland didn’t happen in this AU, due to the whole world switch stuff being too much for a KNY AU cause I want to keep things as KNY (normal?) as possible in this au!
Due to Part 2 not “existing”, Norman wasn’t transferred to that lab, he was killed by demons like everyone else. Emma saved Ray and escaped from the farm along with the other kids(-the ones left behind). Due to the nature of KNY demons compared to TPN demons, they ran into no nice demons and only evil/muzan controlled ones. Consequently, the kids were slaughtered one by one due to the ruthlessness of KNY demons. Ray(Giyuu) and Emma were the only ones left. After losing their family, they were desperate to find help. They find Urokodaki and begin to train under him.. (Emma = Sabito from this point onwards) Emma was much more athletic and energetic meaning she was better fit to be a slayer than Ray(as were Sabito). Nevertheless, they both entered final selection and due to Emma’s fatal flaw of wanting to help everyone and save everyone around her, she slayed countless demons— protecting as many people as she could until her sword had eventually snapped while fighting ‘the hand demon’ while she was protecting Ray(Giyuu), ending in her death. Ray passed final selection without killing a single demon.. and then Tomioka’s story unfolds as it does in KNY.
