XB - 70 Valkyrie Midair Collision with F - 104 Starfighter, June 8, 1966. On Site Visit.

On June 8, 1966 five United States Airforce jets were flying in formation for a photo shoot. For unknown reasons the F - 104 Starfighter, piloted by Joseph Walker, made contact with the XB - 70 Valkyrie's right wing, thus causing a midair collision. This Video uses Google Earth to explain the incident and has onsite visits of the locations where the jets impacted the ground.
