Unboxing Xiaomi's Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus 5G, the global version of this spec-heavy mid-range smartphone, boasting a 200MP camera and impressive battery charging. The Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus is a true flagship killer and here's my early review with a gaming test, battery life impressions and more.
Xiaomi's camera tech will sound familiar to anyone with the 13 series from last year. The Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus 5G is again pretty good for everyday snaps, even in low light, but any motion often results in blur.
Gamers have Xiaomi's HyperOS Game Turbo mode which helps to keep that frame rate high, although Wuthering Waves and other intensive titles struggle on the higher graphics settings. So the Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus isn't the best choice for hardcore gaming fans.
And hey, you also get the same 5000mAh battery with 120W charging vs last year's model. And then there's the gorgeous, super-sharp OLED screen, stereo speakers and 256GB storage - all unchanged, more or less, from the old phone.
So what do you think of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus 5G? Let us know below and check out my comparison vs the Pro and regular 5G models to see which one might be best for you.
