This show was so unexpected. I just tried it on a whim cause I didn't have anything else to watch and ended up falling in love with it right away. The refreshing communication between the couple, no misunderstandings, both Xie Xie Chen and Mu Xuan Ling were straightforward and never waivered in their love and mutual understanding of their loved ones desire and needs. Even though I was least interested in Zhao Ming and Pearls story, I loved how neither were controlling. Pearl was Zhao Ming's to have and Zhao Ming never belonged to Pearl. I loved Pearl's quote to Demon Lord Zhao Ming that only he can decide who he wants to be. I felt sad for them that, after saving the universe they had to go relive all the past 10,000 years of loneliness and torture. And the Pearl didn't say goodbye to the OG Zhao Ming (is he really OG or is Demon Lord really the OG OG XD I don't even know, but glad that Demon Zhao Ming got to reunite and get closure with Pearl. And even more happy that they still will find each other again as Xie Xue Chen and Mu Xuan Ling. (I'm guessing Demon Lord Zhao Ming let the main soul of Xie Xue Chen take over and now they lived happily ever after).
