坪林溪畔古道屬於淡蘭古道南路之一，古道沿著四堵溪溪岸而行，沿途須越溪越溪七、八次，是一條夏日消暑的水岸古道健行路線。
The Pinglin Xipan Historical Trail is one of the South Roads of the Tamsui-Kavalan Trails. The historical trail run along the banks of the Sidu Creek and has to cross the stream seven or eight times along the way. It is a waterfront hiking route for summer cooling off.

【一般路程時間參考】（Walking reference time）
山林關聖宮→25分鐘→岔路往碧湖→8分鐘→小瀑布→16分鐘→岔路往石牌縣界公園→8分鐘→石棚土地公→15分鐘→荒廢古厝→12分鐘→四堵苗圃岔路（往北宜公路）→8分鐘→北宜公路→30分鐘→山林關聖宮, 一般步行時間約3~3.5小時（含休息）
Shanlin Guansheng Temple→25mins→Fork to Bihu→8mins→Small Waterfall→16mins→Fork to Shipai County Bundary Park→8mins→Primitive stone shed earth god→15mins→deserted old house→12mins→Fork at Sidu Nursery (to Beiyi Highway) → 8 minutes → Beiyi Highway → 30 minutes → Shanlin Guansheng Temple, the general walking time is about 3~3.5 hours (including rest)

There are public toilets in Shipai County Park.

★大眾運輸：無。
★自行開車：Google地圖衛星導航輸入「坪林山林關聖宮」，即可抵達目的地。廟旁空地可以停車。
★Mass transportation: none.
★By car: Google Maps satellite navigation input "Pinglin Shanlin Guansheng Temple" to reach the destination. Parking is available in the open space beside the temple.
