By labeling the three axes (X, Y, Z) in objects, you can better understand perspective and navigate three-dimensional space, even as objects move.

You're exploring imaginary space with the three axes: X (width), Y (height), and Z (depth). These axes help you navigate and draw in perspective. Start by labeling line sets in your sketches with X, Y, or Z to identify their direction. Practice with simple objects lined up on the axes, then progress to more complex forms with diagonal lines that move on two or three axes. This labeling expands your spatial awareness and improves your ability to draw objects and environments in perspective.
