I spent the weekend in Kofu City, Yamanashi Prefecture, following my visit to Fujiyoshida City. Despite the rainy weather, it was the day of the Isawa Onsen Fireworks Festival, and I saw many people in yukata arriving at Kofu Station. The last time I visited Kofu was in 2021, and since then, I noticed that the Okajima Department Store had closed (relocated). The city has changed a bit since my last visit, including the removal of the arcade on Kasuga Avenue. This was my first time visiting since the end of the COVID-19 pandemic, and I noticed that there were quite a few touts around the area where the arcade used to be.
