马毅的演讲主题为《Pursuing the Nature of Intelligence》，他从人工智能的本质出发，分析了机器智能的起源和进化，要把人工智能真正从黑盒子变成一个白盒子，并给出了人工智能学习的内容和方式，并幽默的表示道：“真正的智能甚至还没有达到动物的智能，因为它没有形成闭环，只是死记硬背，所以它可以用技能解奥林匹克数学题，那是因为它记性好，但它不知道3.11和3.8大小，因为它根本不懂。它记住了东西但没有去用，它没有自纠正的机制。所以下一步一定是要形成闭环，每个系统能够自动的学习。”
