In this video I am building the DIY router table for my new woodworking workbench. In this video I go over making the router lift system, the insert plate with micro height adjustments, the dust box and the blast gate box. Furthermore the workbench has storage drawers, systainer drawers, an MFT style tabletop and T-track to clamp pieces to the bench. There's also a tool drop shelf for temporarily tool storage to keep the tabletop clear when working.
A major upgrade in my workshop. With an overall dimension of 1800 x 800 mm this workbench is more than twice the size of my previous 50 year old bench. Even though it takes up more space in the shop It feels like I gained more than twice the space with this bench. Fully mobile and dismountable.
