Video Not Working? Fix It Now

What's up everybody! Chris Reed Beats here back with another video. In this video, I am cooking up a dope Electric Guitar beat in Reason Studios Reason 12 and I use some of my favorite devices in the program.

It got me wondering, what are some of your must use go to Reason devices??

We made this beat with some recorded Electric Guitar and IK Amplitude plug in to simulate guitar amp.

In every Reason project I use a Mimic creative sampler. Even if I am not using it for its awesome time stretching and slicing capabilities, I still enjoy using it as a sampler in general. Loading up one shots and manipulating them using Mimics effects, envelopes, and audio editor window makes sound design easy.

When it comes to Drums, there is no way I am not using a REDRUM in some way shape or form. It is a go to. I think it is interesting how some people program their drums in the main sequencer, I may try that one day. For now I am using Redrum sequencer and if I am not using that I am probably using my next favorite Reason 12 device.

The Polystep Sequencer. What can't this thing do!!! Polystep is dope, and if you haven't used it or aren't as familiar, you should check out my tutorial here: https://youtu.be/Z8lXIckXPJM
