You Don't OVERCOME Sin, You Must KILL It!
Our SIN was taken away by the blood of Jesus but our SINS are what can revisit us if we do not destroy its distribution center. The blood justifies us before God, gives us peace with Him and ourselves, and silences the accuser. The blood deals with my sin, but the cross deals with my sinful nature.
Fasting does not kill the flesh, only the cross can. Deliverance from sin is more Biblical than victory over sin and deliverance from demons does not mean that the sin in your life disappears. A holy life is lived by knowing your sin was defeated on the cross, reckoning your old nature dead, presenting yourself anew before God, and by walking daily in the Spirit.
