I’ve been wanting to try this for a very long time. I finally did and I am happy to say this natural, nontoxic weed killer recipe really works! I bought industrial strength vinegar, added some salt and dish soap according to the directions on the bottle, and then put it in a battery operated sprayer. It worked like a charm, even on really resistant ‘weeds’ like achievable and trumpet vine.

Use a trimmer BEFORE spraying them
with the mixture. This will open the weed and the mix will kill it to the root.
Rinse out the sprayer afterwards, as the mix is very strong and might damage some of the sprayer components.
Most effective when done on a hot sunny day. Absolutely no wind is essential!
