To witness someone's first moments on this earth-- to document such a beautiful and powerful life event-- was truly an honor that left an impact on us both. ...even if Rick wasn't in the room. ☺
We had the privilege of capturing Kayla and Colin's backyard wedding ceremony during the pandemic, followed by their celebration with friends and family months later. We were thrilled when Kayla reached out to share that they were expecting their first baby together, and to ask if we might be able to capture the birth story. It took several phone calls and emails to come up with a plan since we live in Tulsa and they are in Atlanta. We did a fun family session one month before the birth, and then when the big day arrived, we grabbed our already-packed bags and hopped on a plane. God was definitely in the details because we walked into their house just two hours before the baby arrived. Kayla and Colin, thank you for trusting us with this precious moment in your lives.
