Video Not Working? Fix It Now

In this series of videos, I will share my progress in designing and building a retro 8-bit computer based around the Zilog Z80 processor. In part 1 I look at getting the CPU running with two clock options, a manual clock, and an auto clock. We can select which one to use via dip switches. The CPU can only read and execute a single instruction, also defined by dip switches. We can examine the first four address lines and six of the control lines by directly connecting LEDs to them. We look at the timing of the M1, MREQ, IOREQ, RD, and WR lines, comparing what the manual says should happen with what the LEDs show us. Finally, we look at three different instructions; NOP HALT and OUT (n), a Link to the Z80 manual: http://www.zilog.com/docs/z80/um0080.pdf Find the full Z80 computer playlist here: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL_u4h3aVHdhFG4UWxSSN53DidEH2ik8OT Subscribe for more content like this. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC0H4GTsk4cmXjrtBbKaDjSA?sub_confirmation=1
