Recently, I decided to try a few retrocomputing projects. This video is part 1 of the series of Z80 retrocomputing videos where I purchase a kit called the RC2014 and assemble it. I found the RC2014 on Tindie, a website that serves as a marketplace for makers. I chose this kit because of its simple clean design and room for expansion on the backplane. The kit was very easy to assemble, and I was able to git it up and running quickly. I plan on using this backplane design as a basis for developing some of my own boards.
