利澤簡位於冬山河旁，水路交通可達羅東及冬山，成為宜蘭溪南地區重要的貨物集散地，造成利澤簡老街商業繁榮。日治時代冬山河改道，內河航運衰退，再加上宜蘭線鐵道完工，交通線西移，利澤簡於是走向蕭條的命運。走在利澤簡老街上，仍然可以感受得到昔日曾經有過的繁華年代。
利澤簡老街主要的景點包括：利生醫院、利澤戲院、林益發商店巴洛克建築、利澤簡永安宮、利澤簡廣惠宮、利澤國際偶戲藝術村（利澤穀倉）等。
Lizejian is located by the Dongshan River, and can reach Luodong and Dongshan by waterways. It has become an important cargo distribution center in the south area of Yilan, which has contributed to the prosperity of Lizejian Old Street. During the Japanese Reign era, the Dongshan River was diverted, the inland waterway was declining, and the Yilan Line Railway was completed and the traffic line moved westward, Lizejian was heading for a depressed fate. Walking on Lizejian Old Street, you can still feel the prosperous era that used to be in the past.
The main attractions of Lizejian Old Street include: Lisheng Hospital, Lize Theater, Lin Yifa Store Baroque Architecture, Lizejian Yong'an Temple, Lizejian Guanghui Temple, Lize Puppet Art Colony (Lize Barn), etc.

★大眾運輸：宜蘭勁好行公車121、國光客運1791、1797至利澤簡站、台灣好行冬山河線至利澤簡老街站。
★自行開車：Google地圖衛星導航輸入「利澤簡老街」，即可導航至目的地。利生醫院附近街道空地可以停車。
★Public transportation: Yilan Bus 121, Guoguang Bus 1791, 1797 to Lizejian Sop. Taiwan Shuttle Bus - Dongshan River Line to Lizejian Old Street Stop.
★Drive by yourself: Enter "Lizejian Old Street" in Google Maps satellite navigation to navigate to your destination. Parking is possible in the open space on the street near Lisheng Hospital.
