Chepala Pulusu is a popular South Indian fish curry, especially in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. It's a tangy and spicy dish made with fish, tamarind, and a blend of aromatic spices. Here's a simple recipe:

Ingredients:
500g fish (preferably small fish like catla, tilapia, or any local variety)
1 tablespoon oil
1 large onion, finely chopped
2 tomatoes, finely chopped
2-3 green chilies, slit
1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
1 teaspoon red chili powder
1 teaspoon turmeric powder
1 teaspoon coriander powder
1 teaspoon cumin seeds
1 teaspoon mustard seeds
1 tablespoon tamarind pulp
1 teaspoon jaggery (optional)
Curry leaves
Salt to taste
Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
Preparation:
Clean the fish and cut into pieces. Keep aside.
Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds, mustard seeds, and curry leaves. Let them splutter.
Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
Add ginger-garlic paste and cook for 2 minutes.
Add tomatoes and cook until soft and oil starts to separate.
Add red chili powder, turmeric powder, and coriander powder. Stir well for a minute.
Add tamarind pulp along with water and bring to a boil.
Add the fish pieces, salt, and jaggery (if using). Cook on medium heat for 10-12 minutes or until the fish is cooked through.
Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with rice.
Enjoy your flavorful Chepala Pulusu!
