मूगडाळीचे पौष्टिक आप्पे आणि चटणी करण्यासाठी लागणारे साहित्य
आप्पे
• १ कप मुगडाळ
• १/४ कप पोहे
• २ हिरव्या मिरच्या
• २ लसूण पाकळ्या
• १ बारीक चिरलेली ढोबळी मिरची
• किसलेलं गाजर
• बारीक चिरलेला कांदा
• बारीक चिरलेली कोथिंबीर
• मक्याचे दाणे
• लाल तिखट
• हळद
• जिरं
• चवीनुसार मीठ
• अर्ध्या लिंबाचा रस
• १ चमचा इनो फ्रुट सॉल्ट
• तेल
चटणी
• गरम पाणी
• ३~४ सुक्या लाल मिरच्या
• १ चिरलेला कांदा
• २ चिरलेले टोमॅटो
• २ लसूण पाकळ्या
• १/२ मोठा चमचा तेल
• १/२ चमचा मोहरी
• जिरं
• चिमूटभर हिंग
• कढीपत्ता
• चणाडाळ
• उडीद डाळ
• १ चमचा गूळ पावडर
• चवीनुसार मीठ

Let’s see how to make moong dal appe today. This is a very easy and simple recipe. We are making chutney also to serve with it. This is instant yet healthy recipe. If you are bored of having the same breakfast like poha, upit, then this is a good option for you. This is a protein rich breakfast. These are flavorful and simply delicious. Ingredients:
Appe
• 1 cup Moong dal
• 1/4 cup Poha
• 2 Green chilies
• 2 Garlic cloves
• 1 finely chopped Capsicum
• Grated Carrot
• Finely chopped Onion
• Finely chopped Coriander leaves
• Sweet Corn
• Red chili powder
• Turmeric powder
• Cumin seeds
• Salt to taste
• 1/2 Lemon juice
• 1 tsp Eno fruit salt
• Oil
Chutney
• Hot Water
• 3~4 dry Red chilies
• 1 roughly chopped Onion
• 2 roughly chopped Tomatoes
• 2 Garlic cloves
• 1/2 tbsp Oil
• 1/2 tsp Mustard seeds
• Cumin seeds
• A pinch of Hing
• Curry leaves
• Chana dal
• Urad dal
• 1 tsp Jaggery powder
• Salt to taste
Method:
Appe
• Wash moong dal and poha really good 3-4 times and soak them in enough water for about 30
minutes.
• Blend green chili and garlic together into coarse paste and take the thecha out into a bowl.
• Transfer the soaked mixture into a blender jar and blend it into smooth paste.
• Take the mixture out into a bowl and add coriander leaves, onion, carrot, capsicum corn, thecha,
red chili powder, turmeric powder, cumin seeds, salt and lemon juice.
• Mix everything well together and add Eno fruit salt. Mix in quickly.
• You can use 1/2 tsp baking soda and lemon juice on it in place of Eno fruit salt.
• Heat up appe patra and add oil in each mold.
• Add batter in each mold.
• Cover and steam appe on medium heat for about 2 minutes until lower side gets nice golden
color.
• Remove the lid and add a little oil on upper surface.
• Flip the appe over and roast well for about 2 more minutes from other side too.
• When appe are roasted well from both sides, take them out and transfer on a wire rack. Moong dal
appe are ready.
• You can make 40 appe from the proportion used.
Chutney
• Remove the stem of dry red chilies and soak them in hot water for about 10-15 minutes.
• Blend onion, tomato, garlic and soaked red chilies well together into puree in mixer.
• Heat up oil in a pan and add mustard seeds.
• When mustard seeds pop up, add cumin seeds, hing, curry leaves chana dal and urad dal and mix
well.
• Add the blended puree and mix well.
• Cook the mixture for about 7-8 minutes and add jaggery and salt.
• Mix well and cook for about a minute or two. Chutney is ready.
• You can store it at room temperature for about 2-3 days and in freeze for about 8-10 days.
• You can serve this chutney with idly or dosa or appe.
