मस्त आणि सोपी डाळ खिचडी बनवण्यासाठी लागणारे साहित्य
• २ चमचे तेल
• बारीक चिरलेला कांदा
• १ बारीक चिरलेला टोमॅटो
• २ हिरव्या मिरच्या
• १ चमचा लसूण पेस्ट
• १ चमचा धनेपूड
• १ चमचा गरम मसाला
• १/२ चमचा हळद
• १ चमचा लाल तिखट
• १ कप तुकडा तांदूळ
• २ चमचे तूरडाळ
• २ चमचे मसूर डाळ
• जरुरीनुसार पाणी
• चवीनुसार मीठ
• १ चमचा कसुरी मेथी
• १ मोठा साजूक तूप
• १ चमचा तेल
• १ चमचा मोहरी
• १ चमचा जिरं
• चिमूटभर हिंग
• लसणीचे काप
• कढीपत्ता
• २~३ सुक्या लाल मिरच्या
• लाल तिखट

Dal khichadi is a very easy and tasty recipe. You can enjoy in any season, let it be rains or winter or summer. It is healthy and light on stomach. This is the best dinner option after a long, tiring day. I will show you very easy method to make perfect dal khichadi. The garlic tadka adds extra punch to the recipe. It looks nice and tastes just awesome. This dal khichdi turns out perfectly like the one that we have in restaurants. You can try this recipe at home and drop a comment for me. Ingredients:
• 2 tsp Oil
• Finely chopped Onion
• 1 finely chopped Tomato
• 2 Green chilies
• 1 tsp Garlic paste
• 1 tsp Coriander powder
• 1 tsp Garam masala
• 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
• 1 tsp Red chili powder
• 1 cup broken Rice
• 2 tsp Tur dal
• 2 tsp Masoor dal
• Water as needed
• Salt to taste
• 1 tsp Kasuri methi
• 1 tbsp Ghee
• 1 tsp Oil
• 1 tsp Mustard seeds
• 1 tsp Cumin seeds
• A pinch of Hing
• Sliced Garlic
• Curry leaves
• 2~3 dry Red chilies
• Red chili powder

Method:
• Heat up oil in a cooker and add onion.
• Fry well until onion gets nice golden color.
• Add tomato, green chilies, garlic paste and fry everything well together for about 4-5 minutes.
• Add coriander powder, garam masala, turmeric powder, red chili powder and mix well.
• Wash rice, tur dal and masoor dal well together and soak it in enough water for about 30 minutes.
• Add the soaked dal and rice into the cooker and mix well.
• Add water, salt, kasuri methi, ghee and mix everything well together.
• Close the lid and steam khichadi on medium for about 20 minutes.
• Open the lid and mix well once.
• You can add more water to adjust the consistency according to your choice.
• For tadka heat up oil in a tadka pan and add mustard seeds.
• When mustard seeds pop up add cumin seeds, hing and garlic and fry well until garlic gets nice
golden color.
• When garlic begins to change to golden, turn off the gas and add curry leaves, dry red chilies and
red chili powder.
• Mix well and add this tadka into dal khichadi. Dal khichadi is ready.
• You can have the khichadi as it is.
