Let’s see how to make upwas special sabudana batata chakli today. Sabudana batata chakali is a summer special or valvan recipe. Mostly these are eaten during fasting. This can be a good variation during fasting who gets bored of having khichadi or sabudana vada. These are fried snacks and can have on other times as well. This is a very easy and simple recipe. I will share lot many tips and tricks to make perfect chakli today. Try this recipe at home and drop a comment for me. Do not forget to like, share and subscribe.
Ingredients:
• 1 cup / 200 gm Sabudana
• Water as needed
• 1 / 200 gm Potato
• 1 tsp Cumin seeds
• 1 tbsp Red chili powder
• Salt to taste
Method:
• Wash sabudana well 1-2 times and soak it in enough water overnight.
• Wash batata really good and cook on medium heat until 2 whistles.
• Peel the potato.
• Grate the potato into the soaked sabudana and add cumin seeds, red chili powder and salt.
• Mix everything well together and mix it well to make dough.
• Take small portion from the dough and make it smooth and even.
• Fill it into the chakli machine and roll out chakli from the mold. Seal both the ends well.
• Dry the chakli under hot sun for about 2-3 days until it is completely dry. Sabudana batata chakli is
ready.
• Store the chakli in an airtight container once they cool down completely.
• You can make 30-35 chakli from the ingredients used.
