ঘাটকুড়ি হাট বাংলাদেশের গাজীপুর জেলার কাপাসিয়া উপজেলা জনপদের চাঁদপুর ইউনিয়নে অবস্থিত। সপ্তাহে প্রতি শুক্রবার এবং সোমবার দিন এখানে হাট বসে। শুক্রবার দিন ছোট হাট আর গরু ছাগল সহ সোমবার দিন বড় হাট বসে।
বাদিয়াবাড়ী , বাংগুরা, বাসুদেবপুর , ভাকোয়াদী, বোয়ালী, চামুরখী, চাঁদপুর, চান্দুন, সোনারোয়া, ধলিসূতা , ডেফুলিয়া, ধরপাড়া, ঘাটকুড়ি , গোবিন্দপুর, জায়গীর, জালিসা, কাজাহাজী, কোটবাজালিয়া , বড় পুশিয়া, ভাটপাড়া, নলগাঁও, তিলশুনিয়া, বরুণ, চাকৈল, পলাশপুর সহ আসেপাশের বিভিন্ন গ্রাম থেকে গ্রামের বাসিন্দারা তাদের নিত্য প্রয়োজনীয় টাটকা শাক-সবজি এই হাটে কিনতে আসেন উৎসবমুখর পরিবেশে। স্থানীয় কৃষকেরা নিজেদের উৎপাদিত টাটকা শাকসবজি বিক্রি করতে আসেন এই হাটে। সরাসরি ক্ষেত থেকে তুলে আনা হয় বলে সবজিগুলো যেরকম তরতাজা দামেও তেমন সস্তা।
বিভিন্ন প্রকার মৌসুমী টাটকা শাকসবজি, বাঁশের তৈরি দৈনিন্দন নানান জাতের হস্তশিল্প জাত গৃহস্থলী পন্য, পান-সুপারি, মাটির তৈরি দৈনিন্তন কাজে ব্যবহৃত নানান জাতের পাত্র, বিভিন্ন প্রকার দেশীয় ফল-মূল, মাছ ও শুঁটকি সহ বিভিন্ন প্রকার নিত্য প্রয়োজনীয় পণ্য হাটে কিনতে পাওয়া যায় কম মূল্যে।
বর্তমানে এই হাট ছোট হলেও পূর্বে অনেক বড় পরিসরে বসতো। আশেপাশের দুই মাইল দূর থেকে এই বাজারের গমগম শব্দ শোনা যেতে হাটের দিন। নানান জাতের পণ্য বৈচিত্র্যে ভরপুর ছিল এই হাট। বাজার জুড়ে ছিল ঐতিহ্যবাহী নান্দনিক মাটির ঘর।। সময়ের আবর্তে আজ সেই পুরনো মাটির ঘর গুলো আজ হারিয়ে গেছে। পুরোনো দিনে এই হাট ছিল নদীকেন্দ্রিক। এই বাজারের পাশ দিয়ে বয়ে গেছে ছোট্ট একটি নদী। নদীতে নৌকা যোগে দূরদূরান্তের হাটুরেরা এই হাটে আসতো সওদা করতে। সড়ক যোগাযোগ উন্নত হওয়ায় নদীতে এখন আর নৌকা চলাচল করে না। প্রায় সবখানেই হাট বাজার গড়ে ওঠায় দূর-দূরান্তের হাটুরেরা এখন আর এই হাটে আসে না। পুরনো দিনের সেই জৌলুস এখন অনেকটাই হারিয়ে গেছে।
গ্রামীণ জনপদের বাসিন্দার জীবনধারার ঐতিহ্যের স্মৃতি হয়ে এখনো টিকে আছে অপরূপ সুন্দর গ্রামীণ হাট ঘাটকুড়ি।
Ghatkuri Hat is located in Chandpur Union of Kapasia Upazila Township of Gazipur District, Bangladesh. A market is held here every Friday and Monday of the week. A small haat is held on Friday and a big haat is held on Monday with cows and goats.
Badiabari, Bangura, Basudebpur, Bhakwadi, Boali, Chamurkhi, Chandpur, Chandun, Sonaroa, Dhalisuta, Defulia, Dharpara, Ghatkudi, Govindpur, Jaigir, Jalisa, Kazahazi, Kotbajalia, Bara Pushia, Bhatpara, Nalgaon, Tilshunia, Varun, Villagers from various nearby villages including Chakoil, Palashpur come to this market to buy their daily essential fresh vegetables in a festive atmosphere. Local farmers come to this market to sell their fresh produce. As the vegetables are picked directly from the field, they are also cheaper fresh.
Various types of seasonal fresh vegetables, bamboo dainandan, various types of handicrafts, household products, betel nuts, clay pots for daily use, various types of local fruits and vegetables, fish and dried fruits are available in the market. At the price
Although this hut is small now, it used to be very large. The hum of this bazaar can be heard from two miles away. This market was full of variety of products. All over the bazaar were traditional aesthetic mud houses. With the passage of time, those old mud houses have disappeared today. In the olden days this market was centered around the river. A small river flows by the side of this market. By boat on the river, traders from far away used to come to this haat to trade. As road connectivity has improved, boats no longer ply on the river. As haat bazaars have been established almost everywhere, haats from far and wide no longer come to these haats. The passion of old is now largely gone.
The beautiful village hut Ghatkuri still survives as a memory of the traditional way of life of the rural town dwellers.
