Ingredients
Peppers - 6 pcs
Onion - 1 pc
Tomatoes - 2 pcs
Feta cheese - 600 grams / 21 oz
Grated cheese - 200 grams / 7 oz
Eggs - 3 pcs
Black pepper - 1/2 tsp.
Oregano - 1 tsp.
For the sauce
Butter - 40 grams / 1.50 oz
Olive oil - 20 ml
Flour - 2 tbsp.
Milk - 700 ml
Black pepper
Nutmeg
Salt
Method of preparation
We clean the peppers from the seeds so that they remain whole.
We arrange them in a tray.
Crumble the feta cheese in a bowl, add the grated cheese, eggs, chopped onions and tomatoes and season with black pepper and oregano. We mix well.
Fill the peppers with the resulting mixture.
Prepare the sauce by heating the butter with olive oil and frying the flour in it for 2 minutes on a low heat (4th degree).
Add the hot milk, while stirring continuously, cook for 2 minutes on a low heat (4th degree). Season with salt, black pepper and nutmeg.
Pour the sauce into the pan next to the peppers.
Cover with foil, bake in a preheated oven at 220°C/ 428°F for 30 minutes.
After removing the foil, bake for 15 minutes at 200°C/ 392°F.
