* Ghee - 1 tbsp
* Water - 3/4 cup
For Daali:
* Toor/Arhar Dal - 3/4 cup
* Moong Dal - 1/4 cup
* Water - 4 cup
* Salt - 1.5 TSP
* Turmeric Powder - 1/2 TSP
* Peanuts - 4 tbsp
For Tadka:
* Ghee - 4 tbsp
* Cumin Seeds - 1 TSP
* Mustard Seeds - 1/2 TSP
* Bay Leaf - 2
* Asafoetida - 1/4 tsp
* Dry Red Chilli - 2
* Cinnamon - 1 inch
* Black Cardamom - 1
* Green Cardamom - 2
* Cloves - 2
* Onion - 2 medium size
* Ginger, Garlic & Green Chilli Paste - 1 tbsp
* Tomato - 1
* Turmeric Powder - 1/4 TSP
* Red Chilli Powder - 1 TSP
* Coriander Powder - 1 TSP
* Cumin Powder - 1 TSP
* Hot Water As Needed
* Salt to taste
* Garam Masala - 1/2 TSP
* Jaggery - 1 TSP
* Lemon Juice - 1 tbsp
* Chopped Coriander Leaves
For Final Tadka:
* Ghee - 1 tbsp
* Asafoetida/Hing - 1/8 tsp
* Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder - 1 TSP
