👋 In this video, we will revive a luminescent indicator in a CD player using the "cathode burning" method. This technique can help restore some of the display's original brightness and partially recover the electron emission that has diminished over time. The method is effective only if the cathode has weakened and is useless in cases where the phosphor on the indicator segments has degraded.
