साहित्य |Ingredients
• साबुदाणा १ कप | Sabudana 1 Cup
• वरई १ कप | Varai 1 Cup
• कच्चा बटाटा किसलेला २ मोठे | Grated Raw Potatoes 2 large
• हिरव्या मिरचीचा ठेचा १ टेबलस्पून | Green chillies paste 1 tbsp
• जिरे १/२ टीस्पून | Cumin Seeds ½ tsp
• चिरलेली कोथिंबीर २ टेबलस्पून | Chopped Fresh Coriander 2 tbsp
• दाण्याची भरड १/२ कप | Roasted Peanuts pw ½ cup
• मीठ चवीनुसार | Salt to taste
• शेंगदाणा तेल किंवा साजूक तूप | Grounuts Oil or Desi Ghee
How to Make Upvasache Thalipith Recipe / How to Make Sabudana Thalipith Recipe |
• Peel of the potatoes, grate them using fine grated & wash the grated potatoes twice & squeeze out excess water from it
• Dry Roast Sago for 2-3 mins on low flame, take it out, allow it to cool down completely & then grind. (Thick semolina consistency) take the ground sabudana into a mixing bowl or plate
• Then grind the varai / sama rice, take this into the ground sabudana
• Now to this add grated potato, cumin seeds, green chili paste, chopped fresh coriander, peanuts pw, salt to taste & mix everything well
• then knead semi soft dough using normal water
• Cover the dough & let it sit for 30 mins
• After 30 mins, take a clean & wet cotton cloth, spread the cloth onto a flat surface, take some thalipith dough, using fingers make thalipith as shown in the video
• Heat up tava, once tava is med hot apply some oil or ghee, put the thalipith on the tava
• keep the flame to low, apply some water onto the top of the thalipith
• after one min flip the thalipith, apply some ghee or oil & roast the thalipith from both the sides
