2025年、大阪万博が開催されます。
振り返り、1970年に開かれた大阪万博のシンボルとなった「太陽の塔」は、日本が好景気に向かう時代の象徴として、今でも、人々の胸に深く刻まれています。
この「扉の彼方へ」は、その「太陽の塔」の作者で、芸術家岡本太郎の母親である、小説家岡本かの子の作品です。
岡本太郎氏の「芸術は爆発だ」は記憶に残る言葉ですが、その原点は母親岡本かの子にあったのかもしれません。
