Kicking off our first reaction from our "90's Baby!!" movie series! A GREAT COMEDIC AND THRILLING MONSTER MOVIE! Tremors (1990) Reaction, Recap, Review! Join Pete and Chris as they watch a cult classic monster flick from the 90s starring one of the premiere actors of our time, Kevin Bacon. Repairmen Val McKee (Kevin Bacon) and Earl Bassett (Fred Ward) are tired of their dull lives in the small podunk town of Perfection, Nevada. But just as the two try to skip town, they happen upon a series of mysterious deaths and a concerned seismologist (Finn Carter) studying unnatural readings below the ground. With the help of an eccentric, survivalist couple (Reba McEntire, Michael Gross), the group fights for their lives against four giant, worm-like monsters hungry for human flesh. Kevin Bacon leads this cast of charming and lovable characters (aside from the one annoying teenager haha) who you just can't help but root for. This movie is reminiscent of a "Jaws on Land" but a bit more on the fun, silly side. A great watch and the practical effects really hold up well!
