In this video I demonstrate a simple, creative practice that will help you get out of your head so you can simply play. This results in unexpected, spontaneous marks and it's FUN! This exercise can be used on its own as a painting warm up, a way to try out new art tools or materials, as an art journal page, and/or as a painting starter.
Materials used: large sheet of mixed media or watercolor paper, acrylic paint, low-tack masking tape, Caran d'Ache Neocolor crayons, graphite, pencils, anything you normally use to make marks.
