[Exploring Human History and Futures Through Ancient Genomic Research: Where We Came From and Where We Will Go?]
Dr. Svante Pääbo was awarded the 2022 Nobel Prize in Physiology/Medicine for his work in sequencing the entire genome of Neanderthals and others. What can the genetic information of extinct archaic humans do for us today? In this lecture, this new field of study, "Paleogenomics," will be explained.
