Yay in today's video I'm going to give you 15 flower options to be grown in the sun.
SUN
I want to start by explaining the difference between full sun and partial shade.
Full sun conditions mean that the plants will receive sun all day or most of the day.
The semi-shade condition means that the plants will have a period of sun and a period of shade, receiving an average of 4 hours of sun per day.
Another important issue to talk about is the intensity of sunlight. Regions located more in the center west, north or northeast of the country have greater sun intensity than the south and southeast regions. We can even say that the sun is stronger in some regions than in others.
That said, we can assess that a plant that is exposed to the sun all day in the southern region can adapt, or it may even be better for it, to receive fewer hours of sunlight in the northeast region. So I'm going to talk about each species, but you can evaluate it depending on the region you live in and adapt the cultivation considering these characteristics.
Another issue is that we think that SUN IS DIFFERENT FROM HEAT, and there are plants that need sun, but do not tolerate heat. Here in my city, which is Curitiba, considered the coldest capital in the country, we have winter days with very low temperatures, but with sun throughout the day. So choosing plants according to the climate of our region is also very important.
