I went to Matsuzaki, a small port town in Nishiizu known for Izu Chohachi and its namako wall streetscapes. It's been seven years since I last visited Nishiizu Matsuzaki. I took paid leave and took a four-day, four-night trip. After leaving work on Friday, I drove my Defender directly to Matsuzaki and spent the night in my car at the roadside station "Hana no Sanseien Izu Matsuzaki." On the first day, I walked around Matsuzaki Port, using Chohachi no Yado Sankoso, also in Matsuzaki Onsen, as my base, and on the next day, I walked around the Kumomi and Ishibe areas, using Taberu Onsen Yado Tairyo as my base in Kumomi Onsen.
*The caption for "Former Yoda Residence" in the video says "Former Yoda Residence," but this is incorrect. Sorry...orz
