Over the past 3 years, all of Jak and Audacity's eggs have been destroyed.
In 2025, three eggs were laid, but two of them were ruined within hours of being laid.
However, one egg miraculously survived.
For the past 40 days, everyone prayed for the safety of that one egg.
God answered those prayers, and Jak and Audacity were able to resume raising their young after 4 years!

【Return Flight: Restoring the Bald Eagle to the Channel Islands】
https://youtu.be/gnjXsW0AMxs?si=_yn-u5nusBKksNMc
The bald eagle pair continues to fail to breed, with eight eggs cracked in 2023 and six in 2024.
Chemical contamination from fish containing DDT has weakened egg shells in the past, but it is unclear if that is the case with Audacity.
The IWS says it may be a genetic disorder. But the first egg, from 2025, is currently intact. We wish them the best of luck in the future.
