This has been a long time coming. The new-generation Prado has finally hit Australia, and it is a very different machine to the one it replaces.
Sharing the same underpinnings as its big brother, the Land Cruiser 300, the new 250 Series Prado is a bold and more assertive looking thing, and it has hardcore hardware to make it off-road ready.
But this review isn't about off-roading, nor is there a towing test. It's just about what the Prado is REALLY like as a family SUV. And there are some issues....
