Plastic automotive parts are often manufactured using injection molding, which can pose challenges for FDM 3D printing. In this video, I demonstrate how to 3D scan an auto part using the Creality Scan Raptor PRO, reverse-engineer it in CAD (Autodesk Inventor), and modify the design to make it compatible with 3D printing. The goal is to achieve easier printing with reduced support, consistent wall thickness, and a smooth, clean finish.
