美ヶ原は高原地帯全体を指しており、最高峰の王ヶ頭（2,034m）を始め、王ヶ鼻、茶臼山、牛伏山、鹿伏山、武石峰などのピークがある。高原地帯は牛の放牧地にもなっています。
美ヶ原高原全体では、日本百名山のうち41座を見渡すことができます。
日本の3000m峰に至っては、21座のうち農鳥岳を除く20座を見ることができます。
今回はこれらの急登の百曲りから断崖絶壁の烏帽子岩を巡り、王ヶ頭・王ヶ鼻の絶景を堪能します！

【 Mt. Utsukushi-ga-hara】
Utsukushigahara refers to the entire highland area, and there are peaks such as the highest peak, Ougatou (2,034m), Ougahana, Chausuyama, Ushibuseyama, Shikabuseyama, and Takeshimine. The plateau area is also used as pasture land for cattle.
The entire Utsukushigahara Plateau overlooks 41 of Japan's 100 famous mountains.
