For the first time, we filmed this episode overseas. The destination is Houston, USA.
We traveled with two barbers who are very familiar with this channel,
Okamoto-san from INN THE PEOPLE and Maeta-san from MAETA BARBERLIFE!
The shooting location was YBJ STUDIOS which was recommended by O'DOUDS founder, Clayton.
YBJ STUDIOS is a unique style barber shop that also has a a yoga space.
We recorded haircuts by Mr. Okamoto, Mr. Maeta,
and Mr. Wan, the owner of YBJ.
I couldn't help feeling the professionalism of these two Japanese barbers, who
even after a long 12-hour flight and a 2,000km round-trip drive to Marfa, which we visited before filming,
were able to transform themselves straight into barber shop mode as soon as they picked up their scissors in the new location.
