Yayyyyyyy it's transbrake day!!!!! Well it's almost transbrake day, this sloppy mechanics brake has to go. This 4l80 transmission came in for upgrades to the valve body and a refresh while it's apart. In this video we discuss the major wear areas. During the teardown we find all clutches have signs of heat but sign of clutch failure or hard part failure. We are installing a Jakes D3 transbrake valvebody during repairs aswell as installing new clutches and steels and bushings. Check back for links to the videos of the car in action.
