[How to make easy, foolproof paella🥘 ]
Cooking time: 30 minutes
■Ingredients (serves 2-3)
・Rice (unwashed)...2 cups
・Onion...1
・Garlic...2-3 cloves
・Paprika (red and yellow)...1/2 each
・Frozen clams...1 bag (100-150g)
・Shrimp...6-8 tails
・Parsley (coarsely chopped)...as needed
・Salt and pepper...as needed
・Sake...enough to cover shrimp halfway in the tray
・Olive oil...as needed
★Soup
・Hot water or water...360-400ml
・Consommé...2 bottles
・Saffron (or turmeric if not available)...1 pinch (as needed)
■How to make
①Remove the shrimp's vein and place on a tray, sprinkle salt on it, soak in sake and leave in the refrigerator for a while.
(Soaking overnight will further remove the odor)
② Prepare the ★ soup in advance by putting the granulated consommé, saffron, and hot water in a measuring cup
③ Finely chop the onion and garlic, and cut the paprika into strips.
④ Add olive oil to a pot or frying pan and fry the onion and garlic for 2-3 minutes
⑤ Add 2 cups of unwashed rice (no-rinse rice) and fry until translucent. (As a guideline, fry on low heat for about 4-5 minutes)
⑥ Add the prepared ★ soup to the pot, mix, and then top with ingredients such as shrimp and vegetables.
⑦ Add the frozen clams with the stock, add salt and pepper, cover, and simmer on low heat for about 13 minutes.
⑧ Once you've confirmed that the shrimp and vegetables are cooked, turn off the heat and steam for about 10 minutes to finish.
*Please make sure there is no core left in the rice
