This Velobuild frame looks like a bargain until you factor in the fannying around you have to do to get it usable. Some things are frankly inexcusable and despite me raising them with Velobuild they were quite happy to pass them off. They agreed the paint was garbage but did not raise issue with the bottom bracket which would be a show stopper - it would need rethreading as a minimum.
The ancillary parts on this are good. The seatpost and handlebars are good as is the generic finishing kit.
If you are going to buy this, then be prepared to put some work in to get it usable. This isn't a frame I can recommend unless you want to get your hands dirty. It would probably suit a bike shop would have the bits on hand to face and ream away.
