The last night of this trip was at Onyado Nono Sendai, which is about a 10-minute walk from Sendai Station. Onyado Nono is a luxury hotel series of the Dormy Inn group, and this Onyado Nono Sendai is more like a business hotel with few facilities, but the buffet breakfast is still very good.
The next morning, we took the JR Senzan Line to visit Yamadera Temple(Rissyakuji).
The official name of the Yamadera Temple is Rissyakuji, which is one of the best spiritual mountains in the Tohoku, Japan. The most famous thing is that you have to climb 1,000 stone steps. In winter, the steps are very slippery due to snow and ice. For safety reasons, it is recommended to wear crampons when going up the mountain.
