This is SUCH a fun varied hobby, don’t let it get away from you! When we have problems - there’s no point in getting all discouraged, we just have to get on and fix it!
I’ve been putting this repair off for some time. In a way it ‘ matter what happened or how it happened but to learn a lesson, there are gauging standards for a reason! I think we must have just plonked a lump of wood down as a station and ‘dressed it up’ into a platform! For a while it worked, then along came bigger engines and warping, expansion and contraction and … uh oh! A Gronk that could do with loosing a little around the wheels. (Just sayin’!)
Seriously this is frustrating - there’s other things to do that are more fun. I’m bck at work so have less time for hobbies and even getting hold of brick paper for the platform front wasn’t straight forward.
The reason I’m on this journey, faults, warts and all is to show it can be done! We’re not there yet but will be soon. (Maybe!😜)
Thanks for watching.
