Hajra Bibi (Gurdev Kaur Sandhu) was separated from her family at the time of India Pakistan partition in 1947. Gurdev Kaur is living in Canada nowadays. In 2018, her interview consisting of her autobiography was published on a YouTube channel. Due to this interview, she is reconnected with her sister, living in Chichawatni Pakistan.
Through YouTube and personal dedication, Desi Infotainer is preserving the stories of those who experienced the violence of Partition and helping families to reconnect.
We travel from village to village to collect these stories. we believe that there is a sea of forgotten tales that should be discovered.
