This is continued work of the idle control circuit of this 6 liter 8-6-4 engine. In my last video, one of the driver circuits from the ECM to the idle speed actuator was determined to be stuck on. I have a new (re-manufactured) ECM that is correct for the VIN number of this 1981 Cadillac. I need to be careful because there was a design change in the middle of the model year and there are two ECM part numbers based on the break point and they are different between Federal and California and different vehicle models. Also the PROMs are specific for the ECM part number.
