Our planet has been floating around our universe for many billions of years and it carries so much wisdom within it. When I create my little geologic abstracts, I think of this and remember the strength and endurance of the earth's many layers. Rock is strong, yet it is flexible and lends itself to change when it is under pressure and over time. This shows me that change is a good thing, even though we are all often resistant to accepting it. May this painting process help us all work through the changes happening in our lives.
