Stephen Crane (1871-1900) is best known for "The Red Badge of Courage," his short novel that captured the public's imagination and garnered widespread praise after its publication in 1895. Crane's masterwork is a classic of American literature that has been adapted for movies and other media. Crane also wrote other short stories about the war. Here's one of them.
