🍲 Hearty Soup:

Ingredients:
Meat of your choice
Potatoes
Carrots
Onion
Celery
Salt, pepper, chicken consommé, bay leaves, and garlic powder
Method:
Fill a 5Qt pot with water, add all ingredients, and cook for 1-2 hours. A simple and flavorful starter for your Shabbat table.

🐔 Chicken Rice Casserole:

Ingredients:
2 cups washed & drained basmati rice
3 chicken thighs
1 cup egg noodles
1 onion, chopped
1 tbsp BBQ mix
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp cumin
1 tbsp salt
1/3 cup oil
3 cups boiling water
3 tbsp tomato paste
Cilantro or parsley for garnish
Method:
Combine all ingredients in an oven-safe dish.
Cover and bake at 425°F for 1 hour.
Uncover and broil for 4-7 minutes.
Garnish with fresh herbs before serving.

🍖 Melt-in-Your-Mouth Meatballs & Potatoes:

Ingredients for Meatballs:
2 lbs ground beef mixed with ground lamb
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp kabob spice
3 tbsp olive oil
2 tsp date syrup or honey
1/2 cup water

Green Herb Mixture:
3 garlic cloves
1 large golden potato
1 onion
Handful of cilantro leaves (food process these together)
Pan Ingredients:
1/3 cup avocado oil
1/2 tsp turmeric
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp salt
1 sweet onion, halved and sliced
6-7 golden potatoes, peeled and quartered
Cauliflower (optional)

Lemony Sauce Ingredients:
3 tbsp oil
1/2 tsp turmeric
1/2 tsp salt
3 minced garlic cloves
Juice of 1/2 lemon
1 tsp date syrup
1/2 cup chopped cilantro
1/3 cup water

Method:
Mix the ground meat with seasonings and the green herb mixture. Form 30 meatballs.
Sauté onions in a flat-bottomed pan with seasonings for 2 minutes. Add the meatballs and sear for 2 minutes.
Layer potatoes and cauliflower on top. Pour the lemony sauce evenly over everything.
Cover and cook on low heat for 50 minutes. Broil at 450°F for 7-8 minutes for added crispiness.
Garnish with parsley and serve.
