Walnut Pie with cream

This is a walnut pie that you should definitely cook soon! Juicy and fluffy walnut pie with a perfect cream! Enjoy!

🥣 RECIPE:
Ingredients
For the syrup
700 g sugar
700 ml of water
Two vanillas
A little lemon juice

For the Walnut Pie
200 g walnuts
5 eggs
200 g sugar
200 g flour
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon cloves
20 g baking powder

For the Cream
1 litre of milk
100 g sugar
2 tablespoons flour
4 tablespoons corn flour
2 egg yolks
Two vanillas
50 g butter
200 ml heavy cream

Method
For the syrup
We start our recipe by boiling the sugar together with the water for 5 minutes to become a syrup.

When it is ready, take it off the heat and flavor it with the vanillas and lemon juice.

For the Walnut Pie
We start by grinding the nuts. Then, beat the eggs with the sugar until fluffy. Then, sift the flour together with the cinnamon, cloves and baking powder.

Next, incorporate the flour and nuts.

Continue and spread the mixture in a buttered and floured pan 35 × 23 cm.

Bake at 180 degrees Celsius, until golden brown.

TIP: While the walnut pie is hot, syrup it with lukewarm syrup and leave it for 3 hours.

For the Cream
Mix half the milk and sugar in a saucepan. Put the flour, the corn flour, the yolks in the rest of the milk and mix well.

Then, boil over medium heat to become creamy. When it is ready, take it off the heat and flavor it with the vanillas and butter.

Cover with cling film and put in fridge for 3 hours.

Finally, beat the cold heavy cream in whipped cream and incorporate the cold cream, as shown in the video.

Serve the walnut pie with enough cream and cinnamon.
