In this video, I demonstrate and explain the creative process I use to make 2 abstract paintings from scratch.... paper. Yep, I found some fun scratch paper to use as a pre-activated substrate for these paintings. It was fun to have some unusual shapes and colors to react to from the beginning and they quickly gave me a creative workout! It was more challenging than I had anticipated, but a great problem solving experiment for sure!
Materials used: 80 lb scratch paper, acrylic paint, and collage paper.
