Ingredients] (1 to 2 servings)
1 package beef tendon 300-400g
2 pieces baked tofu
1 package shirataki mushrooms
400-500ml water
4 tablespoons soy sauce
3 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons mirin (sweet cooking rice wine)
1 tablespoon sake
Recipe
1) Cut beef tendon into bite-sized pieces and boil for about 15 minutes while removing scum.
2) Cut tofu into desired size.
(3) Add boiled beef tendon, tofu, shirataki mushrooms, water and seasonings, and simmer over low heat for 1 hour.
Sprinkle chopped green onions and shichimi (seven spice flavors) on top and serve.
